That’s the plan!

Gotta do pads and brake/trans/diff fluid when I get home tonight.

M3 bumper allowed in SE46?

New fluids are the best. Except for diff oil. Diff oil smells SO bad.

S’not an M3 bumper. It’s an M3 “style” bumper from fleaBay and is allowed. No actual M3 parts are allowed. The bumper rule, in particular, is somewhat silly in that regard but I get it. Much easier to just say “no M3 parts” and then make an allowance for “M3 style front bumper.”

I’ll be putting Motul 300 in both the trans and diff. Should be a good time. I even conned my girlfriend into agreeing to help me out tonight. >:)

In all reality, she won’t get dirty at all. lol

I asked my fiance to help me bleed the brakes once. Started on the right rear of course. She pumped the pedal like 12 times and said her “leg was tired” and gave up and went inside. I then did the rest of it myself running around the car like an idiot.

I’m just gonna pick up a vacuum kit from Harbor Freight so I can do it myself. My guess is that she won’t like the idea of having any role/responsibility in my safety on track tomorrow. lol

I’ll likely just ask her to hand me tools. Maybe I can get her to fill the transmission, but I’m guessing the smell will scare her off. haha

Good call. I haven’t bought a pressure bleeder because I have a co-owner who usually helps. Makes it easier when you have a second set of hands and the guy doesn’t mind getting antifreeze in his hair.

Yeah, until I can con someone into going halfsies on a dedicated race car with me, I’ll be doing all my own maintenance on my DD/HPDE car. The occasional friend is around to help, but they usually just drink beer and tell me all the things I’m doing wrong. haha
